Our carbon steel model grills do not come pre seasoned. They will need to be properly seasoned before use or exposure to outdoor conditions and weather to prevent corrosion. After properly seasoning the grill will be corrosion and moisture resistant. 

Seasoning Instructions:

Step 1 - Pre heat all grill parts in the oven to 200 degrees. 

Step 2 - Using a cloth or paper towel apply a thin layer of oil or seasoning wax to both sides of all parts. 

Step 3 - Heat in the oven to 500 degrees for 1 hour 

Step 4 - Repeat steps 2 and 3 three time or as needed.
