We used our grill to heat water for coffee…then it started to rain. The heat never quit and our water was boiling by the time the rain stopped. We love our grill, only wish I would have gotten the larger one. We show the grill to everyone and tell them how wonderful it is!
The spark is so small and stronger than I expected. Perfect to keep in my jeep and for dayhikes. With a little container of tinder I have everything I need. Nothing else to buy, no gas bottles or those disposible cans for jet stoves, nothing! A onetime investment for the stove and it looks like it will last generations. The carbon steel model is a great model.
It is very compact and firm! I like the rigidness of the stove and setup super fast and easy! My carbon model seems well to carry around! very portable! I will use it in my next camping trips around Sardegna Island! I am so happy with the purchase! thanks!
I had to get both stainless and carbon steel to see which was better. Stainless is way easier to clean and maintain, so if you're in the market for a great camping grill get the stainless model its worth the little extra cost.
Only had it for a couple of weeks here in Idaho. Cooked hamburgers and hot dogs so far works good with charcoal or wood.
